Graphing Calculators
I recommend that each student own their own calculator. The model that we use in class is the TI-84 Plus.
I can not check out graphing calculators for students to take home as I only have one classroom set. Graphing calculators will help out in homework assignments in their current and future math classes. You are also required to have your own calculator for the SAT and ACT tests.
You may purchase a graphing calculator at Walmart or any other store that carries electronics. The cheapest I have found in a store is at Staples for $89. I recommend buying a used calculator to save money. I found many calculators using Craigslist which allows you to buy directly from people in the Austin area.

Another option is purchasing a used calculator from one of the many used calculator websites.
